All EB priority dates for July 2007 is current. Hence everyone can go for concurrent filing right away.
The scenario I have given explains how to maintain the status after getting permanent residency from both countries, so that you are eligible to apply for citizenship in both countries.
But here is the catch. Some Canadian immigration officers might not consider the commuting days towards the day count for citizenship. It solely depends on the discretion of the officer during Canadian citizenship interview.

I didn't look at the CP based EB numbers.
It seems 2005 worldwide has used up all unused 2003 visa numbers.

IV should work closely with Senator Cornyn on this amendment. IV can contact him and talk about re-introducing the amendment and can coordinate w/ him in persuing other senators.
IV should directly bring up issue w/ Senator Hiliary Clinton. She is getting lot of contribution from Indian community. Her action do not match her words of supporting our cause.

I asked my lawyer specifically about this W2/bank statement/tax forms etc...All he needed was a employment verification letter.
He won't send items which are not needed. Sending extra items doesn't improve or better your chances..................send them what they need if there is an RFE then only you are supposed to send supplementary documents.

Friends / Gurus,
Please advice or suggest.
Here is my situation, filed I 485 in July 2007 and No FP done.
Called USCIS in Mar 2008 and opened a SR and got SR for my self in hard copy and an email for my wife that some one contacted about your case for FP and a notice will be mailed to with specific time and date.
And I waited this long and no notice has arrived for me and dates are current in Aug 2008.
Today (July 21 2008) I called USCIS and used the following menus.
2-6-1-(Enter Receipt Number)-1-1-3-1
And a representative has greeted very well and asked bunch of questions and asked to answer yes or no (no details just yes or no)
Then she said as the Background Clearance has not been done for my case, they would not send the FP. And to open a SR I have to wait at least 441 days from Receipt date of I485 to open SR.
When I asked about my wife's case, she replied the same in no FP has done then probably she has not got her background clearance yet. so need to wait for 441 days for her case too.
Then I said my dates are current and if no FP done then I would loose my chance and she replied that until background clearance is done no FP will be sent and they would not touch the case until then.
Friends / Gurus, any advice or please let me know how to follow up on this. I do not want to loose this opportunity.

The whole reason for PERM labor certification is to determine whether there are no suitable US citizens who can do the job . If your company was able to find American citizens for the job I think you should be more worried about your job rather than filing for GC through this company.
Legally I would say that since your company has found the American citizens for the job posting then the job should go to them.
Best look for another job and apply for labor before Oct.
Best of luck.

Yes, it is possible.. However you can apply for extension for one year only. If your I-140 is approved, you can apply for extension for 3 years.
I suggest the following:
1) Apply for your I-140 at the earliest. There is a possibility that your I-140 will be approved before end of May.
2) If I-140 gets approved by end of May, apply for H1B extension for 3 years
3) Else apply for I-140 extension for 1 year based on your approved Labor
